Job Description

As Wish’s popularity continues to rise, we are looking to break down language barriers and connect with our users around the globe. We are currently seeking a Localization Project Manager intern to help us achieve this goal. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, possess exceptional communication skills, and be comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and able to commit to a full-time (40 hour work week) internship from August/September - December.

What you'll be doing:

  • Drive localization projects to successful delivery, while effectively managing priorities and communicating with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Work cross-functionally to understand localization needs, requirements, and blockers

  • Maintain and optimize localization processes and workflows

  • Evangelize localization best practices across the company

  • Review, prioritize, track, and resolve localization issues

  • Work closely with our vendors on the timely delivery of projects

  • Partner with our internal team of Language Managers

Qualifications

  • Working towards or recently graduated with a degree program with a focus on localization project management or related field

  • Knowledge of industry standard localization tools (e.g. TMS)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • A detail-oriented working style

  • Smartling experience a plus
