The Market Insights Summer Intern will be responsible for supporting the Market Insights team as they develop customer insights and represent the voice of the customer within GRAIL. These activities are critical for informing commercial and marketing activities.

This role will focus on analyzing external markets for GRAIL’s products from the perspective of industry trends and competitor promotional materials. Additional flexibility to support other initiatives (e.g., ad hoc competitor analysis, primary market research studies) is appreciated. The candidate must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization with high expectations on quality of deliverables. You Will

• Work with Market Insights to collaborate with stakeholders in Marketing, and on the Competitive Intelligence team to scope, plan, and execute analyses of market trends and competitor messaging from secondary sources
• Find, collate, synthesize, and evaluate relevant information and data from: 1) across the medical diagnostics/screening industry, including market/competitors and the clinical literature, and 2) the consumer healthcare landscape
• Design and create clear, effective reports of research findings.
• Deliver presentations and socialize results to key internal audiencesAssist in the execution and analysis of primary and secondary market research projects as needed

Your Background will include:

• Currently enrolled in a MBA program
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Strong interests in marketing in the molecular diagnostics/screening industry and consumer healthcare industry
• Strong analytical skills: able to synthesize, identify a coherent narrative, and communicate clear findings from multiple, sometimes incomplete, data sources
• Strong interpersonal skills: able to navigate complex organization structures and influence accordingly
