Marketing Analyst/Data Scientist, 2021 Intern Summer U.S. (Remote)
Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices.
Join Atlassian as a Marketing Analyst intern and have a direct impact on how millions of users see and interact with the Atlassian brand. You will use large amounts of data to derive insights that improves our business operations, products and services that we offer. You will work with Product Marketers, Data Scientists and Product Managers, conduct pivotal research, contribute to analyses and reports, and have a seat at the table to participate in discussions and debates about major topics across the company.
You'll be a phenomenal candidate for this role if you drive towards outcomes, enjoy finding patterns in big and ambiguous data, and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

On the first day, we'll hope that you:
- Have experience with R, SQL, Python, or other statistical software (eg., SPSS, MATLAB, Stata, etc.)
- Are enrolled in a quantitative degree such as statistics, mathematics, economics, or computer science graduating between December 2021 and June 2022
It's great, but not required, if you have:
- Familiarity with event-based analytics
- Experience with one or more analytics & visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Mode, etc.)
- Experience with statistical data analysis (linear models, time series analysis, sampling methods, etc..)
- We're also always looking for excellent written and verbal communication skills and a phenomenal eye for detail.
