The Role
As the Business Development Intern, you will help develop, manage, and grow partnerships within our Life Sciences verticals - though no prior experience in Life Sciences is required. This is a highly cross-functional role; you will support efforts primarily around activating new high-impact partnerships and will assist in sourcing, negotiating, and executing new ones. Business Development is one of the primary drivers of customer acquisition and customer retention at Brex, and this is an opportunity to join the team early with a full-time hire track (if mutually desirable).
Responsibilities
- Own the management and activation of select existing partnerships, with occasional support on new partnerships all the way from initial conversations through execution
- Measure the effectiveness and impact of partnerships with rigorous tracking and analysis
- Analyze partner lead generation to determine optimal effort and ROI per channel
- Gather partner and market insights to inform channel outreach strategy
- Work closely with partners to ensure continuity around communication of the Brex product
- Willing to dedicate at least 30 hours per week to Brex work-streams and commitments, including being in the office at least 2x per week
