We are looking for a Privacy intern to support the Privacy program in our legal teams. This is a cross-functional role that will interface with many members of the legal team and with non-legal functions throughout the company. This person will also work with the various tools utilized by the legal department including the team's matter management systems, billing system, knowledge management site and the contract lifecycle management system.
Job Scope:
Assist the privacy program team in reviewing and documenting key privacy processes
Review privacy terms in customer and vendor contracts
Conduct research on a variety of privacy matters.
Provide support in drafting data flow diagrams
Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders.
Complete special projects on various subjects as assigned by members of the privacy team.
Provide support in developing metrics for key areas of activity of the privacy office
Contribute as a team player to help maximize the value of the legal department as an effective, respected, and valued resource within the company.
Qualifications:
Freshman and Sophomores students need not apply.
Strong interest in law school or currently attending law school.
Interest in privacy law or privacy program management.
1-3 years relevant business or legal experience with program or project management.
Experience in a legal setting (law firm or in-house) is a plus.
Familiarity with excel
Analytical and problem-solving experience.
General database or data management experience.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
High level of professionalism, integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company.
Strong desire to be part of a dynamic in-house legal team.
Learning Skills/Outcomes:

If you are hired in Colorado, the compensation range for this internship is between $20 and $26. Pay rates may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
