Final Intern Application Deadline: April 23, 2021
We are looking for a talented superstar to join our tight-knit Platform Team. Do you love creating elegant interfaces that can satisfy the functional, performance, scale and availability expectations of the RingCentral platform? This is an exciting opportunity to try something new and take an active role in the growth of a thriving, public company. Don’t miss our application deadline: May 1, 2019, apply now so you can put your passion to work!
Job Scope:
The Platform Team sees this internship as a unique opportunity to learn how to build and define products for a key persona for any product in the modern age: the developer. Developers bring value to the platforms they work on by extending the core product to address broad and niche product needs, bringing value to a larger customer base, and building greater lock-in for the customers that adopt the integrations built by developers.
In this internship, interns will be exploring the role of a Platform Product Manager. Interns will assist in product development planning and requirements gathering and will work with the design team on crafting the next generation of RingCentral developer products.
Interns will work on real-world products across a number of domains including:
First-time Developer Experience - Learn about what makes a developer successful on a platform and learn about developer acquisition and conversion funnels. Design enhancements to these flow to affect Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
APIs - Gain experience in leading and shepherding the creation of the interfaces used by developers to extend a core product.
Developer Programs - Work with customers to ideate on next-generation integrations, and gain key insights on the technologies necessary to enable strategic use cases.
Operational Improvements - How a team ships a product is as important as what they ship. Interns will help implement process improvements to increase communication and drive efficiency.
