Prototyping Lab Intern - Summer 2022

About the role:
We are seeking Summer 2022 (May/June) interns for our Hardware Development Team! As a member of the Hardware Development Team, you will work on meaningful projects that will add value to Skydio. You will solve interesting problems and learn from a world-class team of engineers and researchers.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to identify and resolve system issues throughout all stages of the product life cycle, from initial prototyping through production
- Design and fabricate individual piece parts and assemblies as well as assist with modification of existing components using hand tools, 3D printing, and manual or CNC machining.
- Assist with equipment and process improvements within the prototyping lab. Bring in new equipment as necessary.
