Search Machine Learning Engineer Intern
We are looking for machine learning interns to join the Search team at Moveworks for the summer, to help improve a search based question answering platform. At Moveworks, we build search technology to answer enterprise users’ questions instantly, by combining modern information retrieval with the latest advancement in natural language understanding. Our core Search product value is achieved through the capability of accurately retrieving, matching and ranking text snippets extracted from heterogeneous knowledge sources, as direct answers to users’ requests. You will help solve challenging yet interesting problems such as lexical gap, semantic understanding, and generative text.

What you’ll do:
- You will work with a group of talented engineers with previous experience at Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Uber, etc.
- You will identify an applied machine learning problem in the enterprise search ecosystem.
- You will explore machine learning ideas and experiment with them.
- You will prove the value of your work to Moveworks products.
- You will learn practical modeling skills, as well as software skills to be a successful machine learning engineer.
Who You Are:
- Entering the last year of your bachelor’s or master’s degree; or currently pursuing a PhD.
- Pursuing a degree in computer science or related fields.
- Having strong coding skills.
- Passionate about natural language understanding, information retrieval, or machine learning.
