We are seeking a few select Software Engineering Interns to join our team for 10 weeks this summer. Interns at Rescale are considered full members of the development team, and there are project opportunities available across the entire development lifecycle/technology stack. Interns from last summer worked on impactful projects like training a model to predict the likelihood of cluster VM failures, and integrating newer Azure features into our core cluster provisioning code.

In this role, some of the projects you might be responsible for include the following:

• Integrating new cloud infrastructure providers and optimizing cluster performance.

• Writing UI components to React.

• Creating automated functional and load tests to verify platform robustness.

• Improving our integration testing to ensure engineering software and deep learning packages perform to customer expectations.

Key Qualifications include:

• Must be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a Bachelor’s program, 1st year in a Master’s program, 1st year in a PhD program, or moving onto a Master’s or PhD program after graduating. (Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent)

• Experience with Python, Java, C++, Go or C#.

• Comfortable with Linux.

• Preferred experience with HPC.
