This position is with Addepar’s web platform team, Web Core. The Web Core team provides and maintains the foundation Addepar's web developers build on every day. Potential projects with Web Core include contribution to Addepar's internal design system (the Addepar Product Language), creating new developer flows with CI tooling, making codebase-wide refactors to our large SPA application, building data-layer abstractions, and architecting web application hosting and deployment solutions.

The Web Core team is staffed with developers deeply experienced in frontend development. Your peers and mentors on Web Core will include prolific open source contributors and a wide range of professional backgrounds.

Requirements

• Extraordinary talent in software engineering. Ability to write high quality object oriented code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of development best practices and experience working in a team.
• Ability to explore complex problems spaces objectively from multiple points of view.
• A robust mastery of web architecture including HTTP, TCP, and browser architecture.
• Practical experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Ember.js.
• Experience working with UI components (React, Ember, Vue, etc), ideally with several frontend stacks.
• Prior experience with CI systems.
• Specific experience in or knowledge of financial data systems is a plus.
