The Role

Product engineers build and operate the full-stack apps which power the user experience for all of our audiences. We build mobile and web apps for members seeking care and advice, workflow and case management apps for our care team, and we lead the application platform underneath those apps. We collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver applications which route our members to high quality providers, provide advice and guidance on healthcare decisions, and facilitate expert opinions on diagnoses and treatment plans.

We are looking for strong software engineers with a passion towards utilizing technology to disrupt the healthcare industry. If this excites you, lets talk!

Your Role at Grand Rounds:

• Build rich and robust consumer grade features to improve our member experience and drive retention
• Drive features and products through the full development lifecycle.
• Collaborate across different teams such as product management and design.
• Build systems which support privacy and security for sensitive personal and medical data

Qualifications:

• Currently working on your BS in Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals
• Experience modeling data in relational and non-relational datastores
• Analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter and motivated learner
• Strong desire for professional growth
• Experience in our current technologies a bonus: Ruby, Rails, React JS, GraphQL, MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Experience with building web application a bonus
• Experience with automated testing a bonus
