We’re growing across the board - we 3’xd our revenue in 2018 - and we're looking for a Software Engineer (Internship) to join our team! The Role:
We want you to be part of the team as another engineer, not simply an “intern". Your work at AspireIQ will go through code reviews, just like every other engineer, and (hopefully) eventually pushed into production. You'll work closely with a mentor, product managers and designers in an open, driven, and collaborative team culture to complete a mission critical project. At the end of the internship, you'll present your work to the engineering team.
- Developing major application features for the platform
- Building MVP experiments for new product ideas
- Optimizing performance and user experience across the application
- Developing data pipeline and analysis systems
- Working with designers and other team members to understand our users and improve the product
- Implementing standards and practices to improve and maintain code quality
- A smart and driven developer that is motivated to build a great product
- Great communication skills and a desire to collaborate with the team
- Knowledge of building web applications
- An interest in taking on more responsibility and ownership over time
- Progress towards a technical degree (or equivalent work experience)
- Attention to detail and a good general sense of design
- Understanding and use of design patterns
- Solving complex and challenging hurdles
