About the Role:
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will play an active part in building features, components and services for our fleet products. You will be working on cloud native architecture to develop, test & deploy features & functionality. You will have a unique opportunity to work with enthusiastic & high performing team, contributing to valuable projects such as Telematics, Geolocation, and video streaming to name a few. We are looking for problem solvers with great coding skills & growth mindset who enjoy working in collaborative team environment.
What You'll Do:
- Get hands-on experience solving business & technical challenges
- Design, develop, debug, test and document code to implement new features
- Work closely with product team to design solutions for our customers
- Communicate & collaborate with diverse engineering teams (platform, data, CI/CD. SRE, DBA)
- Get paired with a formal mentor & interact with senior executives
What We're Looking For:
- Pursuing a CS degree (or related field)
- 2+ years of CS classes under your belt (Intro to CS and Algorithms, Advanced Algorithms, Operating Systems and Data Structures)
- Strong problem solving skills with curiosity to get into details
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages like Ruby on Rails, golang, javascript/Node.js, java, python
- Nice to have experience with datastores: relational, NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, etc
