The Talent Programs Team at Addepar works specifically in the areas of learning & development, talent management, employee experience, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) to cultivate an engaged workplace where employees can do their best work and invest in their professional development. The Talent Programs intern will focus primarily on Learning and Development projects while they gain new skills and professional experience. 

This individual will own the on-demand learning strategy, support virtual learning in a producer role, and assist with creating, promoting, executing, supporting, and measuring a variety of learning initiatives across the company. They will have the opportunity to produce for live virtual learning sessions ranging from individual contributor skill development to leadership workshops, and will engage regularly with a wide audience of Addepeeps. This individual will work closely alongside, and may have the opportunity to support projects in, employee events and DEI. All interns at Addepar receive training, coaching, and professional development guidance from a dedicated member of their team.

Intern Program Dates: May 24 - Aug 13, 2021

Responsibilities

  • Develop a scalable strategy for increasing on-demand learning engagement across the company.  
  • Create topical on-demand learning playlists using LinkedIn Learning content.
  • Evaluate on-demand learning strategy and recommend modifications as needed.
  • Be the producer for all virtual workshops: This includes supporting the primary facilitator during interactive activities, managing the training tool while the class is live (annotations, breakout rooms, timers, etc.), ensuring participant access to in-session resources, and monitoring participant questions.
  • Assist with Learning Management System (LMS - Cornerstone): Monitor workshop registration and attendance, develop familiarity with reporting tools, assist with course updates as needed.
  • Assist in promoting learning resources across the company.

Qualifications

  • 3rd or 4th year Student, preferred majors: Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business
  • Experience and proficiency in Gsuite tools (docs/slides/sheets)
  • Experience with Zoom features a plus
  • Ability to research and analyze data
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask and adapt to change under pressure
  • Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
