Technical Writer Intern - Summer 2020
As a Technical Writer Intern at Ripple, you will work with a team of seasoned technical writers to create documentation for cutting-edge technology that is changing the way finance works.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Communicate with engineering, product, and other teams about the design and implementation of world-class enterprise software products
- Design, write, and update admin guides, developer documentation, API references, and sample code
- Contribute to tools and processes that make documentation and software development more efficient, scalable, and collaborative
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or in a graduate program
- Majors: English, Communication, Journalism or computer science
- Understanding of Linux, git, Swagger, Markdown, and a "docs as code" approach to documentation
- Familiarity in documenting or building web applications, web standards, APIs, and other internet technologies
- Hands-on, exploratory approach to learning
- Knowledge of Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, C++ HTML and CSS are a plus
