Description

About Brandpie

Brandpie is an exciting and dynamic consultancy, that specialises in B2B, and helps businesses unlock growth through change. We have partnered with over 150 senior leaders—CEOs, CMOs, CHROs—at pivotal business moments like a new strategy, new CEO, M&A, or rebrand, helping them bring clarity, alignment and momentum to what’s next.

What makes us different?

When the stakes are high, we connect the dots between vision, brand, culture and execution (digital and go-to-market) so that businesses don’t just look good, they work better together and grow faster.

We pride ourselves in working in a smart, friendly, and co-operative way that respects everyone’s time and is understanding of that fact that work, however important, is just one part of your life. Our culture aspires to be creative and nurturing, with open, transparent communication. We are a diverse and strategic bunch, with a mix of doers and thinkers, and looking for someone who’s like-minded and pragmatic to help us deliver some great work.

We’re consistently recognised for both the work we do and the culture we've built. Since 2018, we’ve been named one of the Financial Times’ top Management Consultancies, and in 2023, Best Companies rated us World Class to Work For.

The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Motion & Graphic Designer with a sharp design sensibility and a love for storytelling through movement. If you obsess over type, grids, and kinetic design — and you’re driven to make brand ideas move beautifully across every touchpoint — we want to meet you.

This role is remote-first, but centered around our NYC team. We get together in the city occasionally for team sessions, collaboration, and connection — so being NYC-based or nearby is a big plus.

What You’ll Do

  • Bring brand stories to life across motion, identity systems, and campaigns.
  • Design and animate for social, brand films, digital content, and internal presentations.
  • Collaborate with strategists, writers, and designers to shape and express brand concepts.
  • Create visual assets across multiple formats and mediums — from pitch decks to launch-ready campaigns.
  • Push craft and creativity while maintaining attention to detail and high standards.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience at a branding agency, motion studio, or creative team.
  • A portfolio that shows strong visual thinking, motion design chops, and an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma; Premiere and/or 3D skills (Blender, C4D) are a bonus.
  • Solid grasp of typography, layout, timing, pacing, and narrative rhythm.
  • A curious mindset and collaborative energy — someone who contributes ideas, not just deliverables.
  • Based in the U.S., ideally within reach of NYC for occasional in-person meetups.
Benefits

Why Brandpie?

  • Work on meaningful, purpose-led projects with world-class clients.
  • Join a small, senior, design-led team that values bold thinking and beautiful execution.
  • Remote-first culture, with travel into NYC for creative connection and team building.
  • Smart people, low ego, strong values.

At Brandpie we believe in helping our people grow – as individuals and as a team. We support this through a competitive and caring benefits package, including:

  • Generous reward package: We provide industry competitive salaries that reflect experience and ability. For this role we have budgeted between $65,000-$75,000. We also offer additional benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage. We conduct salary reviews at the end of Q4 each year, making sure your growth and contribution are recognised in a fair and timely way.
  • Time Off. You will start with 15 days of paid vacation, which increases by 1 day per year to a maximum of 20 days. Our business usually closes between Christmas and New Year, providing an additional 3 days of leave.
  • Flexibility in work and life. We offer full flexibility in how, when, and where you work. But our focus is always on the work we do-and the people we do it for. World class work and strong relationships come first. That’s non – negotiable.
  • Technology to thrive: On joining you will receive new IT equipment including a laptop (Mac) and an external HD screen for your home set-up.
  • Personal development: Elevate is our internal career development programme designed to help you grow. Through a mix of structured feedback, tailored, quarterly career conversations, regular one to ones, training opportunities, and knowledge shares, Elevate ensures you’re continuously building your skills and capabilities- unlocking your potential and helping you become the very best version of yourself.

Our Commitment to Diversity

Brandpie is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We recruit, employ, train, reward and promote regardless of race, religion, colour, national origin, sex, disability, age, veteran status, and other protected status as required by applicable law.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
