What we are looking for at Aura

The Role

  • Manage and enhance the company’s compliance program, including partner oversight program
  • Assist with onboarding partners and maintaining compliance of partner programs
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on partners and service providers 
  • Collect and manage documentation relating to partners and service providers
  • Assist with regulatory inquiries and audits as needed
  • Educate/train employees and partners on legal compliance 
  • Stay up-to-date with legal requirements and developments in consumer lending generally
  • Drive and execute other special projects in support of key company objectives 

 

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need:

  • JD or other degree combined with 5 years of relevant experience. 
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience at a law firm and/or in-house in the financial services industry
  • Experience at a financial regulatory authority or money services business a plus 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent business judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to successfully drive projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with a variety of teams and people, at all levels in the company
  • Enthusiastic about law and financial technology and helping our customers succeed
  • Eager to learn and grow professionally
