Contracts Manager

This position will be located in San Francisco and report to the Manager, Contracts Team.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate daily with Fastly's Deal Strategy team and Sales organizations on documenting and executing cloud services revenue transactions
• Assist with developing and improving processes, playbooks, knowledge management and automation across all contract life cycles
• Ensure proper administration of contracts to match Fastly's internal business practices, from intake of new contracts to sunsetting of expired relationships
• Review commercial contracts (including revenue, channel and procurement contracts) with the support of our attorneys
• Interpret and analyze existing contracts to respond to questions from the Law department and the rest of the company
• Produce and deliver trainings to support best practices
• Juggle multiple projects simultaneously on a time-sensitive basis to meet deadlines in a dynamic and demanding environment with a globally distributed team
• Ad-hoc non-contracts Law department projects as may come up from time to time

What We're Looking For

• BA from a respected institution
• At least 1-3 years of contracts or legal related experience
• In-house law department or law firm experience
•  Experience with CRM and CPQ software such as salesforce.com and automated contract management solutions such as DocuSign and Apttus highly valued
•  Proficiency with technology and familiarity with, or willingness to learn, technical elements of multiple business applications
• Experience as negotiator managing the review, negotiation, and drafting of redlines of, various types of contracts a plus
• Must exercise discretion and ability to properly handle confidential and sensitive information
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including across multiple applications and platforms
• Excellent record-keeping skills
• Paralegals and legal secretaries encouraged to apply
• Must like challenges -- especially those with few instructions and great expectations
• A penchant for discretion
