About the Role:

Sendoso is growing rapidly and looking to add our first contracts manager to help facilitate growth. We're looking for an experienced (5 - 10 years) contracts professional who has strong experience structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology sales contacts. Reporting to the commercial counsel, you will work with hand-in-glove with the sales team to close deals and maintain customer relationships. Given Sendoso’s high-growth trajectory, this role itself has great potential for growth. 


Who You Are: 

You are a contracts specialist who wants to join a rapid-growth technology start-up, aiding in vital contracting in support of a fast-paced sales team. 

Your Typical Day:

  • Drive the contracting process, including maintaining schedules of deliverables
  • Provide initial respond to customer redlines
  • Manage contractual documents, prior and post deal closure 
  • Support commercial counsel in managing the relationship with sales and customer 
  • Advise on risks of proposed commercial transactions and devise creative and practical legal solutions to meet business objectives. 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years supporting legal or contracts at an established technology company. 
  • Experience driving the contracting processing, inclusive of drafting, negotiation, signature, and ongoing maintenance
  • Experience with a demanding sales teams, especially during critical quarter close situations
  • Responsive personality and willingness to work off hours as business demands 

Bonus Points If...

  • Experience building a contracts function 
  • Experience with warehousing and shipping 
  • Strong problem solving, drafting and communication skills 
  • Experience with technology agreements and commercial transactions; specific experience with SaaS contracts is a plus 
  • JD Preferred; not required
