We are looking for an entrepreneurial attorney to support and provide advice to our teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience and is an articulate problem solver with experience in healthcare law. Experience at a top-law firm and in-house preferred.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Help ensure success of the commercial team. Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts for clients, health plans and other partnerships, with particular emphasis on BAAs, DUAs and related agreements.
- Protect the company from compliance risk. Advise the company on HIPAA, CCPA and related privacy matters.
- Enable team members to be self sufficient. Assist in the maintenance of templates for agreements with customers and partners.
- Help the legal department scale and position the company for IPO. Support the legal team across other practice areas, including employment, vendor contracting, investor relations, etc.
