Job Description

Zscaler is seeking a talented, experienced, and business-oriented privacy specialist to join its growing
Legal team. In this position, you’ll support the continued development and improvement of all aspects
of Zscaler’s privacy compliance program (along with other Zscaler internal teams). You’ll also assist with
drafting a variety of commercial agreements relating to Zscaler’s SaaS products with global customers
and partners.
This is an outstanding opportunity to make a high impact contribution to a growing company on the
cutting edge of cloud internet security. This role will require a high degree of self-sufficiency,
organizational skills, proactivity and ability to enjoy a quick-paced and busy environment. You will be a
part of small, supportive, fun, and friendly team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
 J.D. or equivalent degree.
 3 years of in-house privacy compliance experience.
 Experience with global privacy laws, including applicable US and EU regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
 Working knowledge of technology platforms and data flows, including cloud and mobile devices.
 Experience in consulting, drafting and advising clients on technology-related commercial
agreements, including multi-jurisdictional transactions, cloud services and outsourcing.
 Experience counseling and negotiating data protection terms in enterprise agreements, with
experience negotiating requirements from GDPR and U.S. data privacy laws.
 Experience designing compliance programs, policies, and processes.
 Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad range of privacy and security matters.
 Demonstrated ability to complete several simultaneous projects on a deadline.
 Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism and collegiality.
 CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or other related certifications.
