We are looking for a Regulatory Change Analyst passionate about building compliant and trustworthy systems for monitoring and assessing changes in insurance regulations across the country. The ideal candidate has experience navigating insurance regulations and complex regulatory requirements. They will also be adept at distilling these requirements into executable goals and tracking their implementation. What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor, assess, and track regulatory changes in federal and 51 state jurisdictions on a daily basis
  • Determine the applicability of regulatory changes to the Company and its relevant lines of business
  • Notify adjacent teams, key stakeholders, and the executive team of important changes to insurance laws and make necessary recommendations 
  • Work with outside third parties, including insurance regulators, to determine the applicability of regulatory changes or required next steps for the company
  • Disseminate regular and comprehensive internal reports on the status and substance of significant regulatory rule changes
  • Maintain an inventory of laws, rules and regulations and their mapping to internal policies, procedures and controls
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a regulatory change decision from inception through implementation
  • Participate in ad hoc projects in order to ensure that regulatory requirements are considered and met


What We Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 1-3 years experience in a Legal or Compliance department of a financial institution
  • Professional designations relating to the insurance industry preferred (CPCU, ARM)
  • Solid understanding of insurance regulations
  • Analytical with the ability to interpret laws, rules and regulations and how they may apply to the Company 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ambitious and results-oriented with a strong desire to grow in the role
