Wish is looking for a Senior Paralegal to join our growing Legal team. You will work alongside in-house and outside counsel to develop and execute all aspects of litigation support, including data-management and eDiscovery, and drive improvements to various aspects of Wish Legal’s operations.

The ideal candidate is: highly organized; able to collaborate effectively with other teams and departments; able to plan and execute projects of all sizes and durations; tech savvy with demonstrated experience with the systems and tools germane in-house legal teams and litigation; naturally curious and interested in learning new systems; comfortable pitching in on any legal task or project with a “no task too big or small” attitude; and a team player.

The Senior Paralegal will report to our Senior Counsel.

What You'll Do

• Scale processes by creating and updating internal templates, policies, procedures, guidelines, and playbooks across a broad range of topics
• Project manage responses to litigation, pre-litigation demands, and agency charges and work with the team to conduct fact-finding and gather relevant information
• Manage Wish’s eDiscovery process, including tooling, ongoing assessment and updates
• Assist the team in case management, including managing data preservation, collection, review and production procedures and working with outside counsel as necessary
• Help manage Wish’s Legal operations, including assisting with law-firm relationships, insurance providers, and internal partners and external vendors
• Track and regularly report to the team on the status of investigations, disputes, and litigation

Who You Are

• 5-7+ years of paralegal experience
• Operations experience
• Experience with various technological systems and tools, including data visualization tools (e.g. Looker), and comfort with data-collection and data-management processes, including SQL queries/commands
• Flexible, independent, and forward thinking with a willingness to learn and engage in all aspects of the business
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, juggling many matters at once, and pitching in on areas outside your expertise
• Project-management capabilities, including the ability to plan, initiate, implement and monitor projects that achieve strategic goals
• Have a good sense of humor and don’t take yourself too seriously
