Fluidra’s looking for a Logistics Analyst to join our team in Carlsbad, CA.

 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The Logistics Analyst will effectively manage and analyze supply chain processes and recommends adjustments for efficiency. Will oversee the physical movement of product flow by ensuring the flow of raw materials, final products and services are streamlined to achieve Fluidra' s mission and goals. Also responsible for maintaining information in logistic databases and provide monthly/quarterly reports regarding carrier performance.

  • Handles shipment tracking, invoices, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Coordinates domestic shipments with effective communication, documentation processing and accurate handling of our goods and services.
  • Assist and schedule pickups and Deliveries using our carriers and DC’s scheduling platforms.
  • Work closely with Trucking companies and other departments to ensure cost-effective transportation by utilizing company resources and evaluating customer needs.
  • Research transportation methods, audit carrier costs, and actual carrier performance routinely, including timely deliveries.
  • Actively applies ‘best practices’ to improve domestic logistics processes and utilize technology enhancements.
  • Review weekly flow of goods and delivery requirements.
  • Assist with all necessary related documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and any other document as necessary.
  • Adhere to domestic shipping procedures and collaborating with internal key stakeholders.
  • Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with suppliers and coworkers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to shipments in a timely manner.
  • Manage the claim process for all damaged goods in transit including communication to stakeholders, as needed.
  • Attend all weekly meetings with our trucking providers and Distribution Centers
  • Assist supervisor with International Shipments
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports.

 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • 5+ years working experience in the logistics field
  • Knowledge of Incoterms is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving,
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and build strong cross functional partnerships,
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, establish priorities, and meet demanding deadlines in a dynamic business environment,
  • Develop and maintain long-term, internal, and external, trusting relationships,
  • Use Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence reporting or other reporting tool(s) to review, analyze and generate reports, as needed.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION

  • BA/BS degree preferred not required or related Logistics experience. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Expected salary range is $67,000 - $80,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
