About The RoleThe RealReal is seeking a Manager, Campaigns & Commercial Planning to lead omni-channel campaign planning and execution.
The Manager, Campaigns & Commercial Planning role is highly cross-functional and will work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, and Brand departments to drive the Commercial Planning process, corralling inputs and effectively communicating changes in order to drive the business.
The ideal candidate will possess strategic planning skills along with strong business acumen and exceptional communication skills. Additionally, they will be adept at fostering cross-functional collaboration while guiding teams toward successful execution of projects.
Reporting into this role will be a project specialist, focused on building and maintaining project schedules in our project management systems and tools.

What You Get To Do Everyday
  • Drive and maintain Commercial Planning across departments, ensuring the Calendar is maintained and socialized effectively.

  • Partner with Merchandising, Creative, and Marketing teams to set and facilitate quarterly content planning schedules.

  • Proactively identify and implement improvements in Commercial Planning and Digital processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

  • Lead demand driving campaign planning and execution, partnering with channel owners to develop omni-channel strategies that deliver on business goals.

  • Partner with Digital Team on execution timelines, tracking timelines and tasks within our project management tool.

  • Ensure projects are executed on time, within budget and scope, by clearing roadblocks and seeking clarity from project team members.

  • Schedule and facilitate key cross-functional touchpoints with proper preparation to ensure an effective use of time, with clear action items and next steps at the conclusion of the meeting.

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in people management

  • 5+ years of proven success in a fast-paced environment, preferably in eCommerce (marketing ops, digital production, etc.).

  • Excellent oral/written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills to effectively work across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong ability to see around corners and anticipate obstacles or roadblocks.

  • Ability to remain flexible and change strategies as business needs dictate.

  • Strong attention to detail, with a mind for connecting workflows to business needs.

  • Ability to influence and coordinate activities among cross-functional teams.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Education in Marketing or related field

The expected salary range for this role is $110,000-$120,000. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
