About the Role
We are looking for a versatile and hands-on Marketing Manager to help drive growth, elevate our product positioning, and execute high-impact marketing initiatives. This role blends digital marketing, content creation, product marketing, webinar/event coordination, and data-driven strategy within a SaaS environment.
You will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Leadership to shape messaging, generate pipeline, and ensure our story is clearly communicated to product managers, portfolio managers, and strategic decision-makers—the audience central to the Gocious platform.
This is an ideal role for a marketer who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to help build a scalable marketing function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Growth
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns across SEO, SEM, paid social, email, retargeting, and nurture workflows.
- Manage external agencies for paid media, SEO, creative, and web development.
- Develop and maintain lead generation funnels and campaign calendars.
- Monitor and improve conversion rates, landing page performance, and cost-efficiency across channels.
Product Marketing (SaaS)
- Translate product capabilities and roadmap updates into clear, compelling messaging and value propositions.
- Develop product positioning, persona targeting, competitive insights, and differentiators.
- Partner with Product and Sales to create enablement materials such as pitch decks, one-pagers, demos, and case studies.
- Support go-to-market (GTM) planning for new features and major releases.
- Create messaging tailored for product teams, strategy leaders, and executive-level decision-makers.
Content Creation (Blog, Video, Web)
- Own the content strategy and editorial calendar, including blogs, thought leadership, case studies, and customer stories.
- Produce or coordinate video content (scripts, filming, editing workflows, distribution).
- Maintain consistent brand voice and storytelling across all channels.
- Build content supporting each stage of the customer journey.
Website Ownership
- Manage updates to the company website (WordPress/Webflow/HubSpot CMS).
- Create new pages, optimize UX, run CRO experiments, and ensure our website reflects current messaging.
- Coordinate with developers or agencies as needed, but comfortable making updates independently.
Webinars & Events
- Plan and execute webinars end-to-end: topic selection, speaker coordination, promotion, hosting, and follow-up.
- Identify and evaluate industry events, conferences, and trade shows relevant to our SaaS buyer personas.
- Manage event logistics, booth assets, vendor coordination, and event lead capture.
- Report results and ROI from webinars and events.
Quarterly Planning & Strategy Alignment
- Participate in quarterly business and product planning sessions.
- Bring customer insights, performance data, and competitive intelligence to inform company strategy.
- Align marketing plans to quarterly OKRs and product roadmaps.
- Present results, learnings, and recommendations to leadership each quarter.
- Own quarterly marketing plans covering campaigns, content, GTM initiatives, and events.
Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain dashboards tracking key metrics: website performance, MQLs, CAC, conversion rates, pipeline influence, etc.
- Use GA4, HubSpot, Looker Studio, or similar tools to report results.
- Provide insights that improve performance and inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of marketing experience, primarily in B2B SaaS.
- Experience marketing to product managers, portfolio managers, or technical/business decision-makers.
- Hands-on skills in digital marketing, content creation, and analytics.
- Strong product marketing foundation: positioning, messaging, research, GTM planning.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguity and autonomy.
- Proficiency with CMS tools, marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot), and analytical platforms.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in product roadmapping, PLM, portfolio management, or similar enterprise SaaS categories.
- Ability to create lightweight graphics or video edits.
- Background supporting sales enablement or customer lifecycle marketing.
