The Curriculum (Your Role):

We are looking for an associate email marketing automations whiz! You will work closely with the Seesaw Community Team to bring fresh ideas to existing email automations and campaigns. In addition to optimizing existing campaigns, you will design new email automation journeys to reach new customer segments. This role will involve daily use of automation tools such as Autopilot, Mailchimp, and Zapier.

Your Classmates (The Team):

You’ll join the Seesaw Community team. This role will be a combination of independent work and close contact with members of the Community Team.

Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):

• You will need to be available for 30 hours a week (preferably 6 hours a day, M-F)
• You must love building automated email journeys that incorporate multiple actions, conditions and triggers to support users across multiple paths.
• You must have experience with automation tools (ie: Zapier) and enjoy connecting disparate systems to each other (ie: Autopilot, Google Forms, Google Sheets, Mailchimp, Thinkific)
• You will create and manage several simultaneous automated email journeys. You must be organized and thorough as you will be constantly iterating across multiple journeys, as you learn from user behavior and campaign deliverability data. 
• You will manage a spreadsheet that details all community email automations: future email journeys, email journeys that are currently running, summaries of email effectiveness, and journey evolution.
• You will also own the community team’s marketing analytics, ensuring we learn the quantitative lessons of marketing to customers at scale and drive improvements based on those learnings across the organization.

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

• 1+ year working in email marketing and building email automations.
• Must be familiar building automated email journeys, specifically using Autopilot and Mailchimp.
• Prior experience analyzing email campaign performance and optimizing email journeys according to user behavior.
• You must be familiar with importing CSVs into Google Sheets, adding filters, and analyzing data.
• Must be an organized, self-starter who is comfortable experimenting with new automation tools with little guidance.
