Do you love digging into the data, A/B testing, and problem-solving your way into ROI positive campaigns? We are looking for a Retention Marketing Analyst who will be responsible for creating, implementing and managing a churn reduction program that measurably improves customer retention and satisfaction. You will work across creative, marketing, product, and data teams to ideate, develop, and launch experiences that increase customer LTV.

THE JOB

  • Leverage customer analytics, insights, and research to develop and manage a retention touchpoint strategy dedicated to strengthening customer satisfaction and decreasing churn rates across multiple channels, both digital (Email, Push, SMS) and through our delivery experience
  • Analyze email performance and trends vs. goals and share insights and recommendations to drive actionable next steps 
  • Seek optimization and growth through a continuous cadence of A/B and multivariate testing, customer segmentation, trigger-based communications, lifecycle marketing programs and more
  • Partner with the Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations teams to test and deploy improvements to the customer journey to support personalization 
  • Communicate key insights and optimize customization programs based on analysis driven by data
  • Manage forecasting and reporting process, including monthly/weekly/daily forecasting reporting at a channel level for traffic, revenue, spend and other performance KPIs

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of digital marketing experience in eCommerce with a proven track record in driving customer retention and revenue growth
  • 2+ years developing and executing A/B tests to decrease churn, using email, push, and site initiatives
  • Robust quantitative skills including forecasting ability and ROI analyses – demonstrated ability to apply logical thought processes to problem-solving and deliver recommendations.
  • Fervent attention to detail; you are confident deploying emails to millions of members free of grammar, spelling, typos, and other deployment errors
  • Scrappy ability to get stuff done, roll up your sleeves, and tackle something hands-on
  • Proficient with Excel, experience with financial modeling and/or SQL a plus
  • Experience in an enterprise-grade ESP (Braze, Iterable, etc). 
  • Hands-on experience with email and site analytics a plus (GA, Heap, Looker)
  • Light HTML experience required
