We are looking for a Capital Markets Manager to join a growing Treasury team. This role presents a unique opportunity to help develop a world-class Treasury function and contribute to the growth of Reddit. This position is responsible for overseeing cash investments, analyzing capital markets opportunities, managing financial risks, executing market facing transactions, and developing Treasury policies and procedures. In addition, the Capital Markets Manager is expected to build relationships with external stakeholders such as banks and asset managers and partner with global peers at Reddit.
This position reports to the Head of Treasury.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the investment of Reddit’s excess cash
- Analyze capital markets opportunities such as share repurchase, dividends, and other funding transactions
- Execute approved capital market initiatives
- Monitor financial risks such as foreign exchange and interest rate exposures, and execute appropriate hedging strategies when necessary
- Build and maintain financial models
- Prepare and provide market and financial updates to C-Level executives
- Support the development and implementation of Treasury best practices
- Ensure compliance with Treasury policies and procedures
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, asset managers and consultants
- Partner cross functionally with internal stakeholders
- Other projects and responsibilities, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or similar analytical field, MBA preferred
- Prior experience working in corporate treasury, investment banking, or similar field
- Experience investing corporate cash, executing revolving credit facilities, building financial models, and hedging market risks
- Ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo, work independently, manage multiple priorities, and handle ambiguity
- Strong analytical and corporate finance skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certifications a plus
