The Channel Marketing Manager, CPA Program reports to the VP of Channel Sales and is responsible for enabling marketing activities with our CPA firm channel partners with a focus on VAR partners who have a technology practice within a CPA firm. They will work very closely with these partners as well as a variety of Sage Intacct channel team members including the channel sales team, the regional channel marketing managers, the corporate marketing team to support and accelerate CPA partner channel growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the VAR Channel sales and marketing teams to engage in new partner marketing planning activities and to help provide new partner marketing assets suitable for CPA Firm VAR practices
  • Deliver marketing materials focused on differentiation, education, and subject matter expertise required for corporate governance compliance inside the CPA Firm partner. Expand the reach of the messaging to CPA firm clients (co-branded / re-branded marketing materials)
  • Work closely with team members to gather, organize, and help build out marketing foundation for CPA Firm partners. This includes a marketing plan, marketing calendar, campaign, website, and CPA partner marketing activities as needed to bridge the gap between corporate marketing content and content for CPA firm partners
  • Collaborate with marketing managers at partner CPA firms to develop demand generation activities
  • Work with CPA firm partners to optimize their online presence, including website, SEO, and social media
  • Hold one to many webinars with CPA firm partners to discuss best practices for demand generation
  • Collaborate with Sage Intacct leadership to allocate and track New Business Accelerator (NBA) funds
  • Have shared responsibility for partner events and agenda for all marketing partner tracks and content
  • Responsible for overseeing joint marketing initiatives between Sage Intacct and CPA firm partners
  • Work with other Sage Intacct marketing staff to help identify additional content that would be useful for CPA firm partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required
  • 4+ years of CPA firm marketing experience as a marketing manager or marketing director
  • Experience building and executing demand generation plans, including email, webinar, event and online programs
  • Experience building out CPA firm internal communications, customer communications and internal referral marketing plans and activities
  • Expertise and a proven track record successfully marketing accounting/financial business applications is a highly desired; Cloud computing experience is highly desirable
