About the Role 

Ginger is looking for a world-class Communications Manager to join our team. This role will support both our internal and external communications efforts to increase Ginger’s brand awareness, attract new talent, and engage and inform Ginger’s diverse and growing team. We're looking for a strong writer and storyteller who is passionate about our vision of a world where mental health is never an obstacle. 

What you’ll do:

  • Support external communications and PR 
  • Partner with Ginger’s Head of Communications and PR agency to support proactive and reactive communications efforts, including media relations, content, awards and events. 
      • Work with Ginger’s client success team to help tell unique stories of Ginger’s work with employers. 
  • Manage our social media presence
      • Build a cohesive strategy for Ginger’s LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels in alignment with Ginger’s brand awareness and member engagement efforts. 
      • Produce engaging campaigns and content in partnership with Ginger’s Lifecycle Marketing, Creative and People Operations teams.  
      • Support social media community management, monitoring  and measurement. 
  • Lead internal communications 
    • Partner with Ginger’s People Operations team to build an internal communications strategy to engage and inform Ginger employees.
    • Produce and edit content for all-company communications channels, including all-hands meetings, email, Slack, and bi-annual company retreats. 

About you & requirements:  

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications; healthcare experience preferred. 
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with journalistic ability to source stories.  
  • Experience in social media strategy, community management and measurement.  
  • Internal communications experience a bonus.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 
  • Confident, self-starter with willingness to work both autonomously and with cross-functional partners.
