Your Impact:

Handshake is hiring a Corporate Communications Manager reporting to the Head of Communications. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to help articulate Handshake’s story and raise the profile of our leadership team. You will have the opportunity to develop company-wide initiatives and campaigns that educate and engage our workforce on our mission, strategic priorities, and business narrative. You will help tell stories of our impact and shape our brand - internally and externally - while being an integral part of a rapidly growing Communications team.

Your Role:

  • Manage ongoing internal communications for company-wide launches and announcements
  • Oversee corporate LinkedIn and Twitter accounts and execute timely, targeted posts 
  • Work closely with company leaders to optimize their social media presence
  • Draft corporate FAQs, press releases, fact sheets, as well as executive narratives, hot takes, and talking points
  • Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to deploy clear company-wide instructions for promotional activities
  • Lead the development and execution of an analyst relations program 
  • Build partnerships with key internal stakeholders 
  • Contribute to thought leadership programs, including maintenance of speakers’ bureau and weekly industry news briefs 
  • Support with management of agencies, freelance writers, and other vendors

Your Experience:

  • 6+ years experience working in internal, corporate, social, and/or executive communications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline
  • You have previously held roles that require you to be exceptionally organized and detail oriented, capable of managing numerous projects and work streams end-to-end
