In this role, you will lead content conception, design and execution of RingCentral virtual and in-person (on-stage) events. This role will be responsible for creating the event run-of-show including tech rehearsals, recording sessions, and be responsible for pre-production and post-production oversight. And, in close collaboration with the Event Operations lead determine and plan logistics requirements. This position will be the primary liaison between guest talent, internal speakers, production (crew and technical requirements) brand and content teams to provide exceptional coordination for broadcast-grade live programming.
Lead the conception, storyboarding, scripting, production and distribution of livestream, recorded and live on-stage event content
Work with event team counterparts, product marketing, engineering, field marketing and executive leadership to create overall content approach and flow.
In collaboration with speakers and relevant content managers, craft onstage scripts (i.e. keynote presentations, fireside chats, panel discussions, interview questions, other talking points)
Create detailed production timelines and minute-by-minute run-of-show documents
Manage production resources (i.e. agency crews and production) to support event execution and recordings
In partnership with event managers, schedule internal and guest speakers..
Create briefing materials to prepare speakers on content, and production details
Lead creation of event media support materials for onstage presentation (slide decks, video segments, sound and music cues, and other audio-visual graphics, along with detailed cue sheets)
Work with extended event core team to communicate production details, onstage abstracts and speaker bios/headshots
This is a highly cross-functional role where you will be working across Product Marketing, guest talent, executive leadership, etc to drive exceptional live and recorded event programming. As a part of a center of excellence for events, you will be a member of the Strategic Events organization, reporting to the VP, Strategic Events.
You are an experienced live events producer with demonstrated expertise in virtual event hosting platforms (such as Marketo, Cvent, Intrado, Swoogo, ON24, etc.) and a proven understanding of broadcast production workflows. You also have hands-on experience as a producer for virtual events that spans multiple geographies, languages and platforms.
8-10+ years of live/virtual event production experience
Demonstrated experience as a live event producer, public programs manager, public affairs producer or relevant position with extensive background in booking and liaising with guests (headline speakers and interview subjects, expert panelists, community reps, performers, etc.)
Understanding of system integrations to support the complex technology landscape needed for large-scale digital events
Comprehensive knowledge of best practices in complex event planning, including talent bookings, logistics, contracts standards, basic technical production, vendor management, front-of-house operations, studio and stage management
Experience in multiple platforms for virtual events and livestreaming, such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook Live, Twitch, etc
Strong writing for event concept treatments and program notes, as well as speeches, interviews, and other onstage presentations.
Expert organizational, documentation, and communication skills (written, verbal, visual)
Strong project management, creative development, team management.
A passion for events and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Production design experience or ability to offer creative direction to production designers a plus
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or equivalent experience

If you are hired in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $103,000 and $155,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
