The Opportunity
As Afterpay’s CRM Marketing Manager, you’ll manage the North America (“NA”) CRM marketing strategy and deliver relevant and personalized email and push comms that drive company objectives including increasing engagement, frequency and sales from existing customers. We’re looking for someone who has previously shaped and successfully managed CRM comms strategy with proven results that deliver to business objectives.
We are much more than our job descriptions, but here’s where you will begin...
● Build and manage the NA CRM marketing strategy to drive engagement, frequency and sales from the existing Afterpay customer base. Channels include email and push.
● Manage the Afterpay NA CRM marketing calendar to prioritize and traffic control company and partner messages to the right customers at the right time based on data and insights.
● Build the NA owned channel strategy for key shopping moments throughout the year such as Memorial Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Holiday.
● Contribute to NA content calendar planning in partnership with the brand and merchandising teams, to build content moments outside of the large shopping moments based on data and insights (for example, a Financial Education Series or a Back to School campaign).
● Partner with the wider marketing team to build out the CRM channel strategy that will feature our new and existing merchant partners across our CRM-owned channels.
● Contribute and build the CRM personalisation strategy to ensure CRM communications are relevant and personalised to individual customers based on customer attributes, shopping behaviour and segmentation.
● Develop and contribute to a suite of global CRM assets such as personalized email templates that can be tested and reused to drive engagement at scale.
● Create experimentation roadmaps and execute a rigorous A/B testing agenda to enhance campaign effectiveness.
● Partner with creative teams to design campaign assets that drive engagement and align with our brand guidelines.
● Work with our Analytics team to measure the impact of each campaign, and develop ways to scale.
● Deeply understand our US and Canada consumers and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
● Engage cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, analytics and creative to meet ambitious growth CRM targets.

● You have a passion for CRM and email marketing.
● Your head will be abuzz with things we should be doing - developing and analysing
successful CRM campaigns, and planning and launching an impactful program.
● You have experience within a high growth eCommerce, financial services or retail
environment will be highly regarded.
● You’re highly creative with experience devising campaigns that engage, inform and
motivate a target audience.
● You’re a strategic and analytical thinker.
● You have a customer-first mindset.
● You follow through, you show up, and make it happen, fast.
