The Curriculum (Your Role):

As a Customer Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns across the customer lifecycle. You will prepare lists, deploy campaigns, monitor and troubleshoot performance issues. You will contribute to revenue analytics efforts, helping make sure we learn the quantitative lessons of marketing to customers at scale and drive improvements based on those learnings across the organization.


Your Classmates (The Team):

You’ll join our Revenue team, reporting to our Senior Manager of Customer Marketing. You’ll have lots of opportunities to collaborate with the Customer Success and Sales teams, as we work together to communicate to our customers in clear, relevant and engaging ways.

Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):

  • Execute email campaigns to focused on growing paid users activation and engagement and ensuring we renew and expand our customer base
  • Clean and manipulate customer contact data to prepare it for email communications
  • Monitor the performance of email campaigns and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Contribute to answering key data questions that have impact across the Revenue team

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

  • 1+ years working in a role that required detail-orientation and the hands-on use of data.
  • Solid Excel skills and an eagerness to learn new technology tools
  • Comfortable with (and delighted by) working with data to get meaningful insights
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Passion for education and a strong desire to use your skills to impact students

Extracurriculars (Nice to Haves):

  • Experience working with sales and marketing automation tools like Outreach, Gainsight, Autopilot, HubSpot, Marketo, Totango, etc.
  • Experience in a customer success, sales operations, or marketing role.
