YOUR MISSION

As the Customer Marketing Manager, you will be a critical member of the MURAL marketing team. This role will partner with the Integrated Marketing and Content team to shine a spotlight on MURAL customers and members who are transforming the way they work through visual collaboration. With a customer-first mindset, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of customer stories, evidence, and advocacy programs. You’ll use your love for all-things-customer to build lasting relationships with MURAL customers and members as you identify opportunities to tell their success stories. You’ll collaborate with the larger MURAL Marketing team, Sales, Customer Success, Community, and beyond to weave their stories into the customer journey to inspire, educate, and engage. 

Responsibilities

  • Leads the strategy, process and programs for how we tell customer stories, create customer evidence, and foster advocacy at scale 
  • Builds and manages a customer story pipeline that supports campaigns and target audiences
  • Identifies opportunities to create a more robust evidence library based on gaps in stories by persona, industry, use case, etc. 
  • Develops and nurtures strategic marketing relationships with MURAL customers in alignment with sales and customer success partners
  • Fosters internal relationships with Sales and Customer Success teams to uncover stories and elevate champions
  • Partners with the content team on the creation and execution of customer evidence like case studies, blogs, and webinars in support of integrated marketing campaigns
  • Project manages programs to the task-level detail, and manage input and approvals of assets
  • Uses creativity to craft innovative ways we can put our incredible MURAL members and their stories in the spotlight

YOUR PROFILE

  • 4-6 years of experience creating customer success stories and managing advocacy programs in a SaaS company
  • Deep customer empathy and understanding of the customer experience 
  • Salesforce experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking to a wide range of needs and audiences
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment to deliver results and collaborate comfortably with senior leaders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and other functions
  • Understanding of marketing functions in a B2B environment (i.e., content marketing, product marketing, etc.)
  • Proven program and project management skills
  • Ability to work successfully with little guidance
  • Cross-culturally aware and sensitive to working with global teams
  • In the future, willingness to travel

Ideally you have...

  • When choosing between visual and text, you choose visual.
  • Expertise with Asana project management, G2 and similar review platforms, and TechValidate
