The Redis Labs Marketing team is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to be based out of our Mountain View, Calif. office.

Our Marketing team is looking to take a novel approach with this position by placing this position within our Communications team, with the goal to put our customers at the center of every story, program, and message we produce. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to truly take ownership of designing, executing, and taking new approaches to bring customer success stories to life. 

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record for leading complex, cross-functional efforts and building strong, lasting relationships with not only customers, but also sellers and other customer relationship owners within the company.

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate to our customers how they can benefit by partnering with Redis Labs, as well as consider what we need to do to create a leading, world-class brand in the enterprise software market.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain master database/directory of customers references, their reference ability status, preferences, activities, and measurable impact
  • Develop and manage a content library of engaging and impactful assets showcasing customer successes, including video testimonials, case studies, presentations, and more 
  • Increase the size, relevance, and impact of Redis Labs’ customer references and drive higher engagement in marketing activities and programs
  • Drive diversity of customer speakers at company internal and external conferences, events, product launches, industry analyst reports, and media activities
  • Work closely with sales leadership and enablement, product management, customer success, and other marketing roles on cross-functional programs and initiatives 
  • Identify key customer personas, understand their key business problems and pain points, and be able to articulate Redis Labs' value proposition
  • Lead and manage customer marketing and communication programs, including in-person/virtual events, advisory boards, annual conferences, awards programs, and freedom to develop new/unique initiatives


  • 2+ years of customer marketing experience working for SaaS B2B technology companies; experience within a company in the IT infrastructure/developer space preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills, including the ability to create effective presentations; ability to present complex technical solutions in a clear and convincing way
  • Experience producing customer stories and videos, building Salesforce reports, and managing advocacy and reference tools
  • Be a self-starter with a can-do attitude who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced software start-up environment
  • History of improving processes and programs that made a company impact and boosting cross-team performance and collaboration
  • Comfortable speaking in front of all levels of colleagues and customers, from entry-level employees to CxOs
  • BA or BS in marketing, business management, communications or related field

Location

Our office is located in a suburban neighborhood, but Downtown Mountain View and plenty of great eats are a five-minute drive away!
