In this role, you will be exposed to every single aspect of marketing—product, paid media, partner, creative, content, SEO...etc. You’ll draft social copy, put together a proposal for the executive team, create a new image for our blog post and coordinate a campaign launch with influencers—all in a single day. You name it, and you’ll get to touch it.


As with most startups, everyday is different. Sometimes it’ll be all hands on deck for a launch at 6:00 in the morning, while other days it’ll be a late night session to make sure everything goes smoothly with new site updates. That said, working at a startup can be one of the most impactful learning opportunities to jumpstart a marketing career.

So who will you work with, and what will you actually do?


As a part of the digital marketing team, you'll work closely with Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Customer Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Field Marketing, and Customer Experience to support programs with, and for, our retailers and shoppers. You’ll work hand in hand with the other members of the digital team to make site updates, sales collateral, videos, ads, program overviews, strategic plans, power points and more. You’ll be responsible for learning as much as possible, and adding a different perspective where and when you can.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the output of the digital marketing team—i.e. site updates, sales collateral, videos, ads, program overviews, strategic plans, power points and more
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the various marketing teams, adding a unique perspective where and when necessary
  • Support product and program launches (think webinars, website updates & virtual events) 
  • Research industry topics to help Bolt stay at the forefront of emerging trends
  • Interview consumers to gather testimonials, feedback and new perspectives
  • Find opportunities to optimize our existing marketing channels, as well as exploring new channels
  • Help facilitate customer social contests and giveaways to shoppersHelp execute Bolt’s influencer marketing strategy
  • Help Coordinate multiple marketing programs, transforming ideas into robust and timely projects 
  • Develop your content marketing skills by learning how to craft compelling and concise stories
  • Flexibility to work outside of typical 9-5 working hours as demand and the business requires

Requirements:

  • Thrive in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • “Can-do” attitude, and the ability to execute projects both big and small
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with other people
  • Solid analytical skills and experience using data to drive actionable insights
  • Ability to build strong relationships with other members of the internal and external team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with other teams
  • Strong desire to learn and grow—both personally and professionally
  • Solid understanding of the fundamentals of marketing—i.e. The Four P’s, The Basic Promotional Channels (email, social, paid media)...etc.
