The Role:

Our business is growing quickly, and so is the demand on our website. It is the first impression for new users, where they decide to become registered members, where return visitors are welcomed back to engage in our services, and where prospective partners learn more about our business.

We’re looking for someone who has both breadth and depth in the many facets of managing and growing a consumer-facing website, such as planning, design, development, content management, experimentation, analysis and optimization.

The right candidate will have a bias for action and not be afraid to make decisions, but also must be trusted to take the right steps and be methodical in their approach. Attention to detail is important, and it’s even better when combined with creative thinking and inventive problem-solving.

This should not be the first time you’ve had direct access to affect change on a significant web presence. Some projects will be collaborative, involving other stakeholders and taking days or weeks to go from ideation to implementation. Others might be small changes that you can execute immediately, by yourself or perhaps with one or two supporting colleagues.

This position sits in the consumer marketing group, but the role is often cross-functional, working with designers, copywriters, web developers, product marketers, IT support, analysts, and other internal teams to engage the right resources and take the proper steps to improve our public-facing web experience.

Your work can also go beyond the website experience to user acquisition and driving new business. With that in mind we also appreciate candidates that have backgrounds in search engine optimization, social media, paid search and other acquisition channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing ongoing improvements to the Included Health website, ensuring that the site is on-brand, converting leads and consumer registrations, up-to-date and always expanding and improving.
  • Working with designers, content creators and product marketers to create and test high-performing landing pages.
  • Working to continually optimize the site’s performance, increasing conversions through PPC, email and other marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting the proper tagging of external campaigns to increase traffic attribution; Helping others access and understand attribution models and campaign results.
  • Crafting website optimization strategies that focus on the user experience, using A/B testing, and improving user journeys and targeting key audience segments.
  • Making sure the website sends the right signals to search engines at the same time you’re making updates to the human user experience.
  • Staying up-to-date on the quickly-evolving digital marketing landscape, adding new marketing tools that extend the functionality of our website and help us use data to improve its effectiveness.
  • Managing both internal and outsourced web development and design resources, keeping them on budget, on task and aligned with our goals and expectations.

Skills and Experience

  • At least five years of B2C website or ecommerce management experience; 7-10 is a plus.
  • Experience having direct access to the web application platform. Wordpress experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics. Experience with Google Tag Manager is a plus.
  • Application of fundamental search engine optimization methods and use of Google Search Console.• History of successful conversion rate optimization.
  • Experience making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Experience with A/B testing; Google Optimize experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivation and independent thought, but with an ability to collaborate with others.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; Ability to collaborate through online meetings; Ability to convey ideas and concepts in Google slides.
  • Good with numbers. Able to create growth models in Excel or Google sheets, combine data from multiple systems for analysis, history of maintaining weekly and monthly reports.
  • Organization and experience with project management applications. We use Asana and Jira to manage tasks.
  • Ability to use business intelligence platforms such as Looker.
