We’re looking for a Marketing Director to architect and lead our B2B Marketing strategy with the largest segment of our business, Multifamily residential housing (apartment buildings). This is a high profile leadership role reporting to our CMO and we are seeking a visionary B2B marketing leader who can drive both strategy and execution and is not afraid to roll-up their sleeves initially before they build a team. They will set the strategy, identify our value proposition, develop breakthrough marketing initiatives that inspire Multifamily customers to work with us. Our goal is to make Zumper one of the most influential digital real estate brands. Are you ready?

What You Will Do

  • Define B2B marketing strategies that drive awareness, business development, and revenue for the Multi-Family segment and builds our brand
  • Partner closely with Sales and define new communications, value propositions, and ways to engage the audience to drive more supply and revenue
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans with clear communications strategies that reinforce our brand positioning and drive multifamily segment growth
  • Launch campaigns to engage executives, property owners and managers in the multifamily real estate industry
  • Work with digital marketing, social, PR, CRM to create strong 360 degree growth plans
  • Ignite demand through events, direct mail, CRM, digital campaigns, persona-based campaigns, case studies, etc
  • Lead the annual marketing planning and budgeting process and optimize that plan and spend throughout the year
  • Orchestrate participation in industry conferences, trade shows, events
  • Form an outstanding team as the business grows

Who You Are

  • 10+years in B2B Marketing
  • Startup experience a plus
  • University degree. MBA a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful B2B marketing campaigns that are metrics focused and have clear bottom-line impact
  • Data proficient with strong analytical skills - including market/segment sizing, personas, forecasting, and working with analytics to understand efficacy of campaigns
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence others without authority to get things done
  • High EQ
