WalkMe is looking for an experienced and creative Director of Event Marketing who will lead our global events program to drive brand momentum, market leadership, lead generation and client engagement. You'll work cross-functionally to create event experiences that delight, inspire, and educate our enterprise audiences, bring our brand to life, and help expand our reach around the globe. This is your chance to build and scale an events program from the ground up.

What You'll Own

  • Guide the planning and execution of WalkMe’s events and field marketing program including third-party trade shows, community and field events, ancillary events, experiential activations, road shows, and our user conference
  • Define program strategy and build a global event portfolio that aligns with overall company goals
  • Produce events from concept through completion: identify opportunities, establish goals, oversee budget, assemble project teams, negotiate with and manage vendors, source diverse speakers and audiences, track project schedules, create agendas and show flows, and analyze event metrics/ROI
  • Work cross-functionally with the extended marketing team, sales team, account management team, executives, and partnerships on important event and field marketing programs
  • Update leadership on status with trends, metrics, challenges/solutions, and forecasts
  • Additional responsibilities may include supporting event content, speaker engagements/presentations, exhibit management, and trade show sponsorship fulfillment

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years event management and planning experience, including planning and executing large, multi-channel programs preferably in a SaaS or B2B, high-tech company
  • 2+ years of experience managing a direct team as well leading cross-functional projects
  • Plus, but not a must: Experience with budget management of $1,000,000+, experience producing an annual user conference/roadshows, and creating a field marketing strategy
  • Ability to think strategically as it pertains to global program development and execution, but can also perform tactical tasks to accomplish a common goal
  • A passion for creatively transforming brand principles into real-life experiences
  • Strong analytical skills, especially in areas of measuring marketing effectiveness and gaining customer insights
