ABOUT THE ROLE 🤹

Reporting to the VP of Lifecycle & Product Marketing, you will be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy across channels including email and push. Initially managing a team of two seasoned marketers and over a hundred campaigns, you will spearhead efforts to improve new-user activation, long-term engagement, LTV, customer loyalty, and churn reduction. 

Specifically, you will: 

  • Build a high performing lifecycle marketing team and mobilize them to drive meaningful results while supporting them achieve their professional development goals. Keep projects moving and the team priority on goals. You'll understand the numbers – and targets – and know when to reprioritize efforts.
  • Accelerate learnings through encouraging hypothesis-driven experimentation that is inspired by data-fueled insights. Communicate findings company-wide. 
  • Develop strategies based on both competitive research and advanced product analytics. Expertise in Amplitude (or other product-analytics tool) a big plus.
  • Set high-level targets to align the team, as well as roll-up-sleeves and execute on new key initiatives. 
  • Define KPI for activation and retention success, refine dashboards and monitor Lifecycle KPIs to garner insights on consumer behavior and drive actionable next steps including a testing roadmap.
  • Partner with data, design, and product team to better understand members, craft beautiful email and in-app experiences, and align messaging with our ever-changing feature set. 


ABOUT YOU 🦄

  • 8+ years of CRM related experience, analyzing data, tests, and creating insights that translate into strategy, with 4+ years experience managing a team. Familiarity with braze, looker, SQL, and amplitude is a big plus. 
  • Leads by example – demonstrating curiosity, empathy, grace under pressure, integrity, responsiveness, transparency, agility and authenticity.
  • Results-driven and metrics-obsessed, you love a good challenge and apply both creativity and analytical rigor in solving problems. You have a proven track record of moving metrics. 
  • Naturally curious, you are eager to better understand people’s motivations and how to best influence themselves. 
  • Structured analytic thinking, you take the time to estimate the impact of initiatives by setting assumptions and validating via data when possible. 
  • You are driven to make an impact. In this role, you're not looking to stroll Central Park. You are ready to climb Everest.
