What You’ll Do:
- Develop integrated communications that support company goals and align with product and brand positioning
- Oversee the company's online presence, including social media and online reviews
- Partner with the Operations team to develop responses to customer feedback
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Design, Product, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to develop corporate and marketing messages
- Create long and short-form content including video for various mediums to build Upgrade’s digital presence and reputation
- Use data to analyze impact and performance and adapt accordingly. Track and report on key performance metrics to senior management
- Support internal communications in close partnership with the People Operations and Talent Acquisition.
- Monitor key players in the industry (competitors, press, influencers, etc.) to inform our communications strategy
What We Look For:
- 7+ years of Communications and/or Marketing in B2C
- Ability to drive strategy while also "rolling up your sleeves" to execute on initiatives as needed
- Creative thinker with a proven ability to turn ideas into actionable programs that build engagement and product awareness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with senior leaders
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast paced, highly collaborative organization
- Hybrid role in our San Francisco HQ office

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $175,000 - $220,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
Upgrade has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States and Canada, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range could vary depending on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location.
