What we are looking for:

This individual will be embedded within the Finance team and will work closely with the Performance Marketing team to measure the effectiveness of Performance Marketing spend on a global basis. The Director will drive processes around Performance Measurement and reporting the effectiveness & ROI of marketing spend across channels and will play a role in shaping the performance marketing strategies going forward. 

Responsibilities of the role: 

  • Collaborate with Data Analytics and marketing to develop weekly and monthly  subscriber forecasts based on historical results 
  • Develop subscriber acquisition targets for new classes to be launched
  • Set  cost per acquisition targets and caps per channel to establish a marginal cost per gross paid add
  • Collaborating on developing attribution by channel and media mix model for enhanced acquisition efficiency
  • Reviewing and reporting content performance
  • Establishing performance marketing spend  expectations  by week and reporting on results 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA a plus
  • Private and Public company experience is preferred
  • Strong track record of business partnering with C-suite/senior-level executives
  • Experience in developing subscriber acquisition forecasts
  • Good understanding of user acquisition process/cost and marketing tech stack to deploy them
  • Ability to get into the details of operational metrics for DTC businesses and provide recommendations on what assumptions are most appropriate for MC 
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization
