ROLE OVERVIEW


As the Head of Product Marketing at Tonkean, you will build the story of how we are changing the way Operations teams work and leverage automation. You’ll lead the strategy and direction of the product marketing team, and work cross-functionally with other departments including sales, product, customer success, solutions, and other functions in marketing to drive execution. This person will be creative, love to experiment, be able to think outside the box, and work collaboratively as a team.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Lead product marketing strategy and execution
  • Own positioning and messaging, developing compelling narratives that drive action with target buyers
  • Create customer-facing assets such as presentations, website content, demo videos, webinars, blogs, and case studies
  • Run customer and prospect focus groups to test messaging and gather feedback
  • Design sales enablement assets and programs
  • Provide the target buyer and competitive insights necessary to launch impactful, integrated demand gen campaigns
  • Partner with the Product team to help shape the roadmap and drive growth
  • Develop a process for product and feature launches
  • Drive the strategy for content, campaigns, and events
  • Work with PR and Analyst firms to keep your pulse on the market

ABOUT YOU

  • Sharp, charismatic, driven, collaborative individual 
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar product marketing-related position at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team
  • Experience building the process and structure of a Product Marketing team from the ground up
  • Demonstrated experience creating impactful product vision/thought leadership via compelling positioning and messaging
  • Flexible team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence
  • Experience partnering with marketing agencies and analyst firms
  • Analytic and strategic thinker, with exceptional decision-making skills
  • Excellent planning, written, and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail
  • Experience storyboarding, writing, and building product demos and presentations
  • Strong sense of ownership and dedication to accomplish goals and execute at the highest level
  • Proven track record of performing well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with marketing automation systems, social media marketing, Wordpress, Camtasia, and design software a plus
