At Branch, we’re transforming how brands and users interact across digital platforms. Our mobile marketing and deep linking solutions are trusted to deliver seamless experiences for consumers and outstanding results for advertisers. Our team consists of smart, humble, and collaborative people who live and breathe our company motto: Build Together, Grow Together, Win Together.

In this high-profile position, you’ll take a leading role in directing the go-to-market strategy for all of Branch’s products, and defining our place in the $70 Billion mobile advertising ecosystem. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers, and our industry. Armed with that insight, you will guide our marketers and sellers to articulate the value, benefits and technical capabilities that make Branch indispensable for the modern digital enterprise.

We are looking for an insightful, experienced leader to join our fast-growing team. A hands-on practitioner, familiar with both mobile and B2B, you have an innate ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into clear business benefits that resonate with customers. You will build a team of world-class product marketers who will help define Branch’s reputation as the market leader in deep linking, attribution and mobile growth.

As a Director of Product Marketing, you’ll get to:

  • Drive the overall product marketing vision and its execution for all Branch SaaS products.
  • Up-grade our messaging to focus on solutions and value; moving customer conversations to a holistic use-case centric model.
  • Lead development of programs that help our customers measure and articulate the value they obtain from Branch.
  • Work closely alongside our sales enablement teams to understand the needs of frontline sellers and CSMs, and build out training and collateral that helps our salesforce progress every deal.
  • Oversee Win/Loss reviews, working with prospects and customers to uncover strengths and weak-points in our messaging.
  • Be a trusted partner to the product team and relay customer, sales and market insights that inform product roadmap decisions and strategy.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team.
  • Help define the strategy, goals and measurement methods for cohesive cross- functional.
  • Be hands-on in writing and creating customer facing materials that will range from how-to guides up to thought-leadership materials.
  • Be a product spokesperson, both internally and externally, and one of our points of contact for analyst relations. Explain the Branch vision, and demo our product at briefings and events; showcasing the best of Branch to our customers.

You’ll be a good fit if you have:

  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience, and are gifted at working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product and executive leadership.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to craft messaging which avoids jargon and gets to the heart of an issue, and are an exceptional creator in your own right.
  • A track record of hiring and developing strong talent; demonstrating that you “lead from the front”, with deep knowledge of operational details, project management process, and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
  • Experience from prior roles in mobile, ad tech and SaaS, that enables you to demonstrate an encyclopedic knowledge of our customers, the competition, and key industry technologies.
  • Knowledge of how to measure and evaluate the impact of your work, and your team’s, leveraging analytics, revenue data and CSat tools. You are a competent analyst in your own right - you habitually substantiate your recommendations with hard data.
  • A strong need to make Product Marketing a strategic resource for the business, not a checklist of activities.
  • Joy in uncovering buyer insights from customers and prospects, conducting and commissioning your own primary research as necessary.
  • Strong project management skills and are undaunted by managing multiple large projects running in parallel with dependencies across many aspects of the company.
  • Comfortability acting as a company spokesperson dealing with the press, industry analysts  and representing your employer at trade-shows and other live events.
  • Deep familiarity with both SaaS and mobile.
  • 12+ years of marketing experience, preferably with 7+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS.
  • A Bachelor's degree, MBA or Masters preferred.

A little bit about us:

  • Branch has raised more than $330M from investors such as NEA, Founders Fund, and Playground Ventures.
  • We are headquartered in Silicon Valley and have presence all over the world.
  • Diversity at Branch ranks in the top 10% for similarly sized companies (by Comparably).
  • In 2020, we are recognized as one of Forbes Best Startups, Great Places to Work, and Bay Area Best Places to Work.
  • We have more than 3 billion monthly users and are partnered with over 50,000 apps.

If you think you’d be a good fit for this role, we’d love for you to apply! At Branch, we strive to create an inclusive culture that encourages people from different backgrounds to bring their unique, diverse perspectives to work. We aim every day to build an environment that empowers us all to do the best work of our lives, and we can’t wait to show you what we have to offer!
