Farmers Business Network is on a mission to help farmers maximize the profit potential of their operation for the long term through a data and technology-driven approach. We're disrupting very traditional farming services, unlocking new levels of convenience and transparency with online tools and resources to easily apply and manage farm financing (input, real estate, operating, equipment), manage and optimize insurance policies (general multi-peril, premium crop insurance products and health plans) and manage and execute their grain marketing and sustainability programs.
We're looking for an experienced email marketing manager to assist in the overall management and growth of FBN's email marketing programs. This role will have the core responsibility of helping build a strategy that guides and optimizes the impact of our email marketing campaigns.
In this role, you will help develop an email strategy and process that effectively communicates FBN value propositions to the right customer at the right time. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative work style with a mix of both creative and analytical thinking and experience managing and marketing to B2B/B2C audiences. In addition, the candidate should have significant experience building and managing large-scale email campaigns that are strategically aligned with overarching marketing objectives.
Core Accountabilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end journey and lifecycle email campaigns, including campaign planning and design, list management, campaign health monitoring, and post-campaign analysis for multiple business lines
• Develop and communicate a global view across email initiatives to ensure campaigns work together as part of a cohesive strategy to drive productive behavior
• Make data-driven decisions and identify new opportunities for growth and efficiencies
• Provide concrete roadmaps for nurture campaigns, triggered emails, and other transactional emails
• Create new and refine existing reporting capabilities, automating reporting as needed
• Monitor and drive key metrics, including open rate, click-through rate and conversion rate, and regularly improve acquisition, activation, and engagement metrics
• Ensure compliance with all relevant domestic and international legislation (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
• Helping to create and maintain an efficient process for campaign scheduling and deployment
• Ensure all email campaigns comply with current email best practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-6 years in email marketing management, preferably with FinTech organizations
• Exceptional written communication and copywriting skills; proven ability to communicate effectively and influence all levels of staff
• An extremely analytical mind and ability to translate data into actionable, effective, and profitable email marketing plans; experience managing and interpreting analytics
• Highly detail oriented
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Tableau, Amplitude)
• Ability to adapt and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Problem-solver who can work collaboratively to find solutions
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email marketing
• Good project management and communication skills
• Experience using the Marketo Platform for email campaign creation

OUTSTANDING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in the agricultural sector, specifically financial services or insurance
• Experience with Contentful is a plus.
• Marketo Certification

The following represents FBN's reasonable estimate of the US national average base salary range of possible compensation for this role based on market data and placement of internal employees: $105,000 - $130,000.
This salary range may vary based on geography and variations in cost of labor. Beyond the above or adjusted to market salary range, FBN also offers all full-time employees competitive equity compensation, health and wellness benefits, and various perks.
