As an Employment Brand Manager for our business, you’ll work within the recruiting team to brand and market the Braze business as you would a product. With an exceptional understanding of the tech space and what excites tech talent and how to attract them, you'll work cross-functionally to position Braze as a top employer, with the aim of attracting & engaging the most talented individuals in the business. We're looking for someone who is strategic and thoughtful, but also hands-on and scrappy.
What you'll do:
- Strategize and execute on building a voice for our brand to the external talent market so the candidates understand why we are an employer of choice, and our employer voice is a consistent message in each phase of the recruitment cycle - from our first message all the way to onboarding
- Strategize & execute on building content that effectively tells our story to top talent & updates talent consistently on the innovative work we are doing here
- Develop new content on a consistent basis for all relevant channels (owned, organic, paid) - pictures, spotlights, announcements, job descriptions and the career opportunities in an organized and visible content calendar
- In partnership with the sourcing team, develop, test, and analyze messaging recruiting is using for both active and passive candidate populations
- Seek out and suggest new channels and communities to engage with in partnership with the sourcing manager with a particular focus on diversity
- Partner with the campus recruitment team to post job opportunities, market events and opportunities to both students and career services, and tailor all content and outreach to this population
- Build programs and content for internal teams that support our recruiting goals such as the employee referral program, ERG support, DE&I initiatives, and new office openings in partnership with the PR and Marketing teams
Who you are:
- BA/BS degree preferred, HS Diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience, 2+ in the talent space- global experience required
- Strong technical writing, messaging and content development skills, including both short and long form content
- Must be able to take advantage of recruiting-related software, including Applicant Tracking Systems, internet resources and social media websites
- General tech savviness and knowledge of new and innovative technologies and programs
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized; possesses the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to focus on both tactical items and long term strategy in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to travel when necessary to represent Braze and collaborate with internal teams
