The Marketing team is looking for an Event Marketing, Senior Associate with expertise in brand and event marketing strategy at a fast-growing, category-defining company. Your experience working on brand initiatives will help shape event strategy. You will support efforts to scale our events strategy sought to educate broader audiences on the power of crypto, rally our existing community, and inspire top talent to join our growing workforce.

The Event Marketing, Senior Associate should be comfortable bringing new insights to the table on how we can bring events to life and build momentum in driving KPIs for brand and content.
This person will have the right combination of vision, ambition, judgement, creativity, and critical thinking as well as a passion and enthusiasm for building the Coinbase brand and bringing crypto to the masses.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Supporting the events marketing manager in driving brand event strategy
- Execute event strategy for a number of recruiting and institutional events, brand events, as well as internal hackathons. You will work on multiple, simultaneous programs that require both critical thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution alongside a number of cross functional partners (recruiting, finance, legal, content business units etc.) to bring an event to life on time and in budget.
- Handling vendor and agency relationships: lead the management of external event partners and cultivate outstanding working relationships.
- Content and distribution: work closely with the public relations, editorial, and design teams to build content for events, including executive slides, multi-media and strategies for amplifying the event content beyond attendees
- Event measurement: Determine ideal KPIs, share performance and optimize each event
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing.
- Experience in working under tight deadlines and driving alignment across multiple internal partners + collaborators.
- Exposure to leading large brand activations and events.
- Initiative and collaboration. Our team is extremely cross-functional and it’s important that we + the teams we work with are able to proactively collaborate on solutions that can drive increased brand awareness for Coinbase through multiple marketing channels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allows you to easily and clearly connect with team members at all levels and functions of the organization.
