What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Project manage end-to-end event processes to deliver high quality events through the entire lifecycle of event planning, execution and post-event management including but not limited to: invitation creation, internal and external announcements, pre-event tasks such as audio visual technology requirements, on-site staffing and support, registration support and reporting, managing event supplies and shipping, premium research and ordering, and production of event materials including name badges, agendas, surveys, biographies, speaker introductions, briefing memos and printing
  • Manage the annual plan and ad hoc sponsorship opportunities for Coinbase Institutional 
  • Plan and execute event logistics and provide onsite quality event management including host and attendee management, budget management, contract negotiation, and adherence to internal guidelines
  • Coordinate across stakeholders to deliver outstanding events on message  
  • Liaise with Institutional leadership team to create annual event roadmap and plan budget
  • Learn and apply fundamentals of the business, target audiences and department goals and translate knowledge into successful events
  • Creating pre and post event briefs, including key metrics and results 
  • Develop and execute white glove differentiated client experiences for various audience segmentations 
  • Managing and tracking the events budget, including vendor approval, working with finance to process invoices and tracking expenses

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 5-8 years prior experience in event management related activities
  • Creative ideation for client events and experiences 
  • Detail oriented and organized with a strength in project management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, resourceful and motivated
  • Strong sense of time management, prioritization and ability to execute against deliverables
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think independently/problem solve
  • Team player who consistently interacts with peers, partners, management, relationship managers and clients
  • Be willing to tackle any task and exemplify a positive attitude and commitment to success
  • Familiar with basic virtual events
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels including senior management

Nice to haves:

  • You have crypto experience and a knowledge of the crypto market
  • Proven quantitative track record of previous success such event metrics, attribution to revenue or lead generation
